You'll be delighted by the meticulous restoration of a true Victorian, love the elegant guest rooms and be enchanted by the genuine European hospitality.
You'll be surprised and delighted by the wide range of recreation options too.
This newsletter is 'just' about eating.
Like Maggie, you'll rave about the food.

Why?
Mornings start with the smell of freshly brewed coffee or the taste of a broad selection of exotic teas. You only need to step outside your bedroom door.

Shirley and Pamela are gourmet cooks who prepare all the delicious food at The Glynn House. They're always creating new dishes that are certain to enchant you. They continue to prepare old favorites too and respond to your dietary requests.

Seasonal fresh fruit provides a healthy start to the day. Some mornings, you may enjoy fresh fruit parfaits that include tasty yogurt, delicious crunchy granola and a variety of fresh fruit toppings. Hot grapefruit with brown sugar may be served during the winter months.

Homemade muffins provide a delicious compliment to your gourmet breakfast. The triple chocolate muffins are a delicious 'low calorie' option. Fresh raspberry and blueberry muffins are almost too good to eat. You'll want to eat the cinnamon &
raisin muffins before they come out of the oven.

Belgium waffles with caramelized banana or apple compotes provide a delectable recent addition to the breakfast menu. Your waffles are usually served with slices of hickory smoked bacon providing an intoxicating traditional aroma. Other toppings and fillings include blackberries, pears, dried fruit and chocolate.

Shirley and Pam prepare quiche that is 'light as a feather'. Fillings may include savory cheeses, spiral ham, broccoli and mushrooms. The seasoned fried potatoes, which accompany the quiche, are scrumptious.

Stuffed French toast is a Glynn House favorite. Just imagine sitting down to breakfast with a plate of mouth-watering French toast filled with sweetened ricotta, cream cheese as well as fresh strawberries. Pure New Hampshire maple syrup and tasty sausages compliment your entrée too.

Freshly baked cookies are a Glynn House tradition. Favorites are chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin and peanut butter. Shirley bakes brownies, maple snickerdoodles and chocolate sugar cookies too.

Complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres help create a pre-dinner party atmosphere. Hors d'oeuvres vary by season and reflect a European flair. You'll enjoy exotic cheeses, delicious dips, chilled fresh vegetables, savory tarts, tasty sausages and more. Wines include a range of reliable Australian choices.

You won't stop eating wonderful food at The Glynn House. Award winning local restaurants delight the most discerning palate.

Mike Love's Lemon Grass uses the freshest possible ingredients and homemade sauces. Diners love the elegant setting. Exotic favors, creative presentation and perfect service have generated rave reviews from restaurant critics kept this new local restaurant filled since they opened last year.

Patrons at The Woodshed experience the rustic charm of a 19th century farmhouse and barn tucked away along country roads and surrounded by open pastures, orchards and mountain vistas. The classical American award winning cuisine has won the restaurant many awards.

Abondante promises food enthusiast a truly enjoyable dining experience. Rooted in the warm flavors of the Tuscan countryside, Chef Douglas Moyer's dishes are infused with international flavors to create distinctive tastes. Abondante's menu features fresh and flavorful dishes to satisfy even the most discerning palates.

Glynn House guests return to The Common Man again and again. They like the fresh seafood, roast prime rib,
hearty soups and sandwiches. Guests enjoy a dinner in one  of the cozy dining rooms styled after a 19th century New England coaching inn. After dinner, guests head upstairs to the unique bar. They relax next to the wood stove, play a game of checkers or cribbage and listen to live music.

You'll want to order a plate of chocolate covered strawberries prior to arrival. They look as good as they taste. Paired with a bottle of Chandon Brut, this 'special touch' provides the perfect treat before retiring.
