“Classy, but not ostentatious” Reviewed July 31, 2013
This B&B is well-furnished; the breakfasts are delicious; the owners are knowledgeable about the area; amenities were perfect . Traveling solo, I felt a little funny about staying at a B&B, as most think of B&Bs for romantic getaways. The Glynn House in proved perfect for couples, families, and solo travelers! Pam, Glenn, and Ingrid put me right at ease. I knew where I could find them if needed, but I knew I was left to do my own thing.
“Beautiful New England B&B - LOVED IT” Reviewed July 31, 2013
We only stayed one night but, will definitely extend the stay next time. We were in the Roosevelt Room and it was impeccable! Glenn was welcoming and knowledgeable and helped us find the lobster dinner we were craving. In the morning, the gourmet breakfast had us well prepared for the second half of our journey. We loved this place and will be back! Cheryl & Derek C.

First time doing a B&B - five nights at that - we arrived with an open mind but a bit of anticipation. Needn't have worried. Glenn the owner greated us warmly, offered help with our luggage, and gave us the five-minute overview of the property, activities, etc. - then left us to our own devices. After a long drive, it was exactly the right amount of structure.
“Very nice, relaxing getaway.” Reviewed July 29, 2013
My wife and I stayed here based in part on recommendations from Trip Advisor and also location. We were only going to stay for a night, but decided to stay an extra night. Glenn, Pam & Ingrid were very gracious hosts and gave us a suite as no one was staying there that night. Continued on Tripadvisor
“Wonderful Glynn House” Reviewed July 22, 2013
We stayed only one night at the Glynn House, but wished we had booked a longer stay. We were welcomed by Glen, the owner, who showed us his wonderful house. Our room, the Roosewelt suite, was awesome. A tasty breakfast was served in the main house, and so was complimentary wine and cheese in the afternoon. A nice way to get in contact with other guests.
“Best experience ever” Reviewed July 20, 2013
What a great place to stay. So welcoming. The breakfast is amazing. Complimentary happy hours. Fantastic room. As if this wasn't enough, Glenn is amazing. All of his recommendations are spot on. He truly enhances your stay in Ashland. Customer service is amazing. He was a travel guide must. Not one thing I would change.
"Weekend Visit at the Glynn House" Reviewed July 14, 2013
My girlfriend and I visited the Glynn House Inn to look at local areas to move to. Glenn personally greeted us at the door asking us if we had any dietary limitations or allergies come breakfast. Personally walked us through the beautiful house showing us the dining room and sitting room where menus, drinks, and hors d'oeuvres were located. As he showed us into the room it was extremely clean stocked with waters and candies along with the beautiful roses I had requested for the girlfriend.
"Weekend at the Glynn House in Ashland" Reviewed July 13, 2013
My wife and I drove a couple hours north to visit the Glynn House Inn over a long weekend. The location I fantastic if you want to see the lakes or the White Mountain region. The innkeepers run a tidy business meaning they understand customer service. They asked us if we had any dietary limitations when we checked in. Breakfasts are fantastic and served quickly. The menu is pretty broad too on top of the daily muffins and fruit.
"Very Comfortable" Reviewed July 8, 2013
We recently spent two very comfortable nights at the Glynn House Inn. My husband and I were welcomed graciously on our first evening and given some guidance about places to eat in the area. The next morning we were served a delicious breakfast, given a choice of entrees and served graciously. Again, we were given guidance about locations to visit in the area and routes to take to our destination. We hope to return again next Fall if possible.

A last minute, get out of the heat trip to Ashland, NH and the many lakes and rivers in which to swim brought us to The Glynn House Inn. We were greeted by Glenn, one of the owners of the inn, who showed us around the Inn and to our room. One of the things that stays in my mind were all the little things; soft drinks, mixed nuts, pretzels and hard candy always available. Also available is an extensive DVD borrowing library. Though our room was small and did not have a closet I would recommend this place to anyone.?Oh and did I mention the great breakfast with more then 6 meals to select from.?
"Can't Wait to Get Back!" Reviewed July 7, 2013
We just returned from a wonderful trip to the Lakes Region of New Hampshire that was made even more special by our stay at The Glynn House. The room was both comfortable and appealing. The breakfast was splendid and the charming and gracious host and hostess are unequaled. We were regaled with facts and suggestions that made our stay even more remarkable. We are already looking to our calendar for the next opportunity to return.
"Excellent B&B!!! Highly Recommend A+++" Reviewed July 6, 2013
Our most recent stay at the Glynn House Inn was in June 2013. We have stayed here 3 times now. My husband actually proposed while we were here 10 years ago. The breakfasts were amazing & the rooms are decorated very tastefully. Also the beds are very comfortable. As someone that has a bad back, it is crucial that I have a comfortable bed. The Innkeepers are a pleasure to deal with and very down to earth. I feel like I've known them for years. It is an overall fantastic experience. We decided to make our stay here an annual tradition. Thank you Glenn, Pam & Ingrid for another great weekend get-a-way. As always we had a wonderful time. See you next year!
"Really Lovely!" Reviewed July 5, 2013
The Glynn House was perfect! My husband and I were in the area for a concert, and we brought our mastiff with us. Families traveling with dogs stay in the house in the back, so that people with pet allergies are not bothered. Our room was large, clean, and very cozy. The owners went out of their way to help us with directions and recommendations for day trips. Breakfast was delicious and filling! They were also incredibly sweet to our dog. The only negative I can think of is the lack of A/C. We would certainly go back!
"Fantastic" Reviewed June 24, 2013
My wife I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, great family staff Very informative for directions and places to dine, excellent breakfast. We also loved the area as it was situated amongst the winding mountain roadways close to the interstate and rural routes for site seeing and beautiful country side. Will defiantly book in the near future while traveling to NH.
"A great get-away" Reviewed June 22, 2013
This is our fourth year staying here and will keep coming back. The Innkeepers, Glen, Pam, and Ingrid are all so hospitable and friendly, I feel as if they are old friends. All of them take the time to come talk to us for a few minutes when they see us around the grounds, and Glen is always there with helpful suggestions of things to see and do in the area. The breakfasts are superb, and the menu has a wide variety. ??We have stayed with our two dogs in The Eisenhower Suite and the Roosevelt Suite, and without the dogs in the Jefferson Suite. I have to say that the dog-friendly rooms are just as neat and clean as the rooms in the main inn. The Innkeepers are often renovating and redecorating different rooms to keep them modern. The dogs are very comfortable in the rooms, and also seem to feel as though it is a second home. They even get their own beds provided, which are very luxurious. In my experience here, the other dog owners that stay are all very responsible and the rooms are very quiet. I would recommend The Glynn House Inn to anyone from near or far who wants a relaxing get-away that still feels as comfy as home.?
"Amazing Breakfast" Reviewed June 11, 2013
Our second stay at Glynn House Inn. Last year, I was impressed by a choice of a sweet or savory breakfast. This year, I was amazed at being able to select from a choice of 6 delicious breakfasts (a rarity in a B&B). The toughest decision was choosing between waffles or French toast. The bed was very comfortable as well as the room temperature. And the house constantly smells like tasty baked goods. The innkeepers are always available for questions or assistance. The bathroom facilities are clean and well proportioned.
"Quiet and comfy" Reviewed June 10, 2013
Very quaint. The rooms felt very homey although it would have been nice to have a fridge... I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a quiet retreat away from it all. There's plenty of things to do and places to eat nearby. The rooms are comfortable and I would be happy to return if I'm in the area again.
"1st Anniversary Trip" Reviewed June 2, 2013
Fantastic Place! I stumbled upon the Glynn house while looking for a pet friendly place for our anniversary (we have two large dogs and hate to board them). I don't think I could have done a better job. Glenn and company are fabulous. We were as comfortable as we are in our own home just with a much larger jacuzzi tub and a great stone fireplace. The dogs had their own beds and treats upon arrival. It happened to rain most of the weekend but we were perfectly content hanging out in the room, which was beautiful. Great property and great owners!

If you are looking for a clean, quiet, beautifully-furnished inn that is reasonably priced, Glynn House is for you. The owner is also extremely knowledgeable and honest about local restaurants and attractions and the best routes to get there or -- if it will save time -- back home. Highly recommend.
"Relaxation and comfort!!" Reviewed April 23, 2013
My now fiancé and I stayed at this wonderful B&B back in march to celebrate our 4 yr dating anniversary. Our original room had no heat but they notifies us well before we arrived that way there won't be any surprises. We stayed in a different room but it had everything we wanted, and it was just like the one we booked. The following day, breakfast was awesome!!! And we loved talking with the innkeepers. They let you feel as if it's your house and THEY are the guests.
"Romantic Getaway" Reviewed March 18, 2013
My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Glynn House Inn. I was a bit skeptical of a trip to Ashland, NH to stay at a B&B. They are two things I have never done. As soon as we walked into the main house - my fears disappeared. Glen was very welcoming in a very relaxed manner - a pleasant upgrade from obnoxious hotel clerks. The decor is charming and comforting and very well maintained. We were given a tour, met an adorably sweet dog, and were very happy with our room. We stayed in the Harding Room. The fireplace was magical. The bathroom was pristine. The bed was heaven!
